Tear of Solitude

broken,
in a sea of despair,
a lonely wizard travels the world
dreaming of love and hope
while chasing sparks
and illusions

Lost in the Fog / Distant Figure

I knew then,
after she said that,
and it made me think for a while.

I sat there,
pouring my thoughts into my hat,
watching them flow, bright and lucid.

And then without warning,
they disappeared,
gone through a hole
at the bottom of my hat.

And I never saw them again...



When we said Goodbye / Anxious Dreamer

I left in a hurry after her,
the feelings involved cascaded
into bold strokes of anger and sadness.

This feeling lingers blindly,
and I no longer belong here or there.

I am a drifter in a dark land
with long pronounced shadows,
carrying unwanted treasures
to silent spirits that can no longer
understand their own voices.
