Positive Designs
I wanted to print these out and put them around the neighbourhood but the home printer isn't working for me. There are some areas where people use their car horns too much and the level of impatience and stress is out of control. I did a light trace with pencil on my tablet pc and coloured it with tick markers to test it and it turned out great. I have to find now a print shop nearby and print some in light gray to trace, but for now I wanted to share these ones.
Pray For Japan
On March 11, 2011, Japan's Tohoku coastal region was destroyed by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and devastating tsunami that followed. Pray For Japan takes place in the devastated region of Ishinomaki, Miyagi - the largest coastal city in Tohoku with a population of over 160,000 people. Filmmaker Stu Levy - an American living in Japan - filmed the tsunami aftermath during his trips to Tohoku as a volunteer and over a period of 6 weeks, captured over 50 hours of footage. Pray For Japan focuses on four key perspectives of the tragedy - School, Shelter, Family, and Volunteers. With each perspective we meet victims who faced significant obstacles and fought to overcome them. Through these four vantage points, the audience is able to understand the vast ramifications of this large-scale natural disaster - and the battle these real-life heroes fought on behalf of their loved ones and their hometown.

Paper Leaves 02
I think this is the first time I put out my leaves cut outs in the city. I spent around 5 minutes with every batch of leaves meditating on peace and love and writing either peace or love on the back of every leaf. I put them on the Via Argentina Park (Parque Andrés Bello) in a nice quite area where I could work undisturbed.
A girl with a pet bunny approached me asking what I was doing. I explained to her that you could even re-arrange the leaves if you wanted to because they're just stuck with sticky tack, or even take them home or stick them somewhere else. She seemed to like the idea and got inspired into making paper hearts and sticking them out as well. I gave her two leaves as a present.
And so I will keep doing this sort of thing to keep my life and blog interesting for the time being.
Paper Leaves
I had an idea today, but I won't be able to carry it out until tomorrow. Some weeks ago I bought a few things for cutting cardboard and paper but I didn't even open it until this afternoon. As you may be well aware, if you have been following my work, I have a sort of obsession with leaves. I did a lot paper cut out leaves today and was thinking of sticking them in the outside world. I feel like adding a bit of my touch to my neighbourhood by decorating a public area. So I hope to do that tomorrow and take some photos to show you.

Birthday Card
My nephew's birthday was yesterday, he's 2 years old now. I made a card for him using some cute cut-outs I had already done and had no idea what to do with them. Well, I hope they're happy now as a birthday card present. I included a shot of my desktop as well. It sure has evolved since I came back to Panama.

Open Up Your Heart
I have my eyes closed now. No, I'm not thinking about anything in particular. I just contemplate the darkness and lie still for a moment. What do I see? I see myself. I see every memory that exist withing me. All the dreams, relationships, lessons, ideas, futures, and pasts. And here I am now, staring at you from outside your window, silently floating, like a ghost in the mid-summer's wind, awaiting patiently for your return. You cannot see me, although I am there, you are not yet aware of my presence. I sing to you now, of our love, of our home, of the times you were not alone. I feel your tiredness. You wave at the window without any particular reason, this makes you wonder why would you do such a thing. But it is gone now, and you remember you tiredness. All right, goodnight love.
