It's been an interesting year so far, 2011 was something completely new for me. I didn't thought I will be back in my home town, not really sure what I was suppose to do. But then again, I'm not troubled by what may seem like inconsistencies. I applaud each new day as something entirely new. And I certainly know what goes around us as we learn to adopt new ideas and new ways of living. The year 2012 will be the culmination point for most of us. I can feel that we will not be disappointed and most important of all, let us not ever feel any sort of imaginary fear. For it is not there for us to embellish or get a hold of and make it our own.
Instead of dwelling in what ifs, feel the air, feel the sound the leaves make as you pass by inadvertently. Feel the sun's warmth on your face, on your skin, hear the birds sing and sing along with them if you wish, say hello, say goodbye, say thanks, and say "i love you" when the time comes. And then, remind yourselves what it is to be alive, to be here in this earth, to be present.
Now, I leave you with the most amazing of dreams for the year to come and I bid farewell to anything that was and everything that will no longer be with us, for it is old and torn. So long 2011, and thanks for all your marvellous teachings. May peace and love envelop you like never before.
